Omar
Ortega was born in McAllen Texas and graduated from McAllen
High in 1984. He is married to Leticia and they have one daughter.
He was employed at Dean Gibson's Garden Center from 1982to 1986. He then moved over to Ross Nursery & Landscaping from1986 to 1988. He joined Griffen and Brand Greenhouses for four years, and in 1992 he came to Valley Garden Center.
Omar became a certified Nurseryman shortly after joining VGC.
